One of my favourite lunch restaurants is Ulivans in Santa Gertrudis. The family owned restaurant located opposite the church on the main square has a large terrace with plenty of shade of the lemon trees. On the menu, home cooked Spanish dishes and tapas. For example fried calamari, delicious meatballs in tomato sauce, patatas bravas (fried potatoes with spicy sauce) and pickled fish filets. Favorites of mine are Frito de Pulpo, which is an octopus stew with bell peppers, onion and potatoes and fresh spinach rolls with ham oven baked. After finishing the tapas don´t hold back on dessert, just take the delicious cheesecake with blueberries, simply divine. In addition, when the bill arrive you won´t feel let down, usually I pay about 24€ for a lunch of two persons. Who says that Ibiza is expensive, you can find good places to eat for little money.
